| Whether you use a 55 gallon tank soak
vat for cleaning huge parts, or a 6 gallon pail for cleaning small parts
- - - Texas Refinery Corp.'s PARTSOLVE is
formulated for your needs! PARTSOLVE is intended
to be used as a soak vat cleaner for removal of grease, sludge, gum, varnish,
tar, paint, etc. from nearly all types of metal. It is used as it comes
from the drum without dilution. |
PARTSOLVETwo
Layer Liquid Solvent Cleaner
PARTSOLVE has
two layers. The top layer is a special inhibited water solution that prevents
excessive evaporation of valuable solvents. This keeps the cleaning solution
working longer. The lower level consists of a combination of chlorinated
and phenolic compounds, selected solvents, and wetting agents.
PARTSOLVEEasy
To Use
There is no mixing and no heating because
PARTSOLVE
is
a "cold soak" parts cleaner.
PARTSOLVE
is
non-flammable and non-explosive.
PARTSOLVEEffective
PARTSOLVE readily
attacks contaminants on fuel pumps, pistons, carburetors, filters, nozzles,
strainers, electrodes, tools, etc. It gives maximum solvent cleaning efficiency
and quickly cleans parts thoroughly. No agitation is necessary. Just put
in the dirty parts and PARTSOLVE does the
rest. Depending on the type of soil, most parts are cleaned within 5 to
30 minutes.
PARTSOLVEQuick
Acting
PARTSOLVE is
a quick acting cleaner. For example, it only took 23 minutes for PARTSOLVE
to
clean a carburetor of visible contaminants and put it in condition for
rebuilding. A diesel engine piston covered with baked-on carbon, gum, sludge,
and varnish only took 3 hours and 7 minutes for PARTSOLVE
to
remove everything but a small amount of carbon that was removed with a
few strokes of a wire brush. PARTSOLVE cleans
fuel pumps fast. A fuel pump draped with gum, dirt, and grease was cleaned
in only 19 minutes. A water rinse had the fuel pump actually glistening
with cleanliness.
PARTSOLVEVersatile
PARTSOLVE removes
nearly all contaminants including gum, varnish, oil, grease, and paint.
It is safe on most types of metal, even plated parts. This one product
does the job of many. After parts have been soaked, a water or petroleum
solvent rinse is all that is necessary to remove the PARTSOLVE
film.
PARTSOLVEEconomical
PARTSOLVE is
economical to use. A little goes a long way. The top layer of special inhibited
water contains a special corrosion inhibitor to prevent attack on conventional
metals as encountered in chemical cleaning. The layer of water also helps
prevent excessive evaporation of valuable solvents. This keeps the cleaning
solution working longer. PARTSOLVE does the
job of many different types of cleaners, since it has the ability to remove
gum, varnish, oil, grease, paint, and is safe on many types of metal and
plated parts.
Here
Is How PARTSOLVE Is Used:
| 1. Place parts to be cleaned in parts
basket. Then place basket and parts into PARTSOLVE.
Since PARTSOLVE will attack gaskets, rubber,
synthetic rubber, plastic, and leather, the parts to be cleaned should
be disassembled prior to cleaning.
2. Put cover on pail and allow to set
for five to thirty minutes (the heavier the parts are soiled, the longer
the parts should sit in contact with PARTSOLVE.)
3. Remove parts basket from PARTSOLVE
and
allow to drain.
4. Rinse with water or petroleum solvent
and parts are ready to be assembled and used. (Recommended rinse petroleum
solvents are: kerosene, naphtha, or diesel fuel). |
Should you be pouring portions of PARTSOLVE
from
a 35 or 55 gallon container, agitate the PARTSOLVE
before
removing it from the container. This ensures a proper mixture of PARTSOLVE
in
your soak vat. (Provide adequate ventilation when using PARTSOLVE.) |
