the amount of POWDERED BIG RED® needed
to accomplish effective cleaning is much less than ordinary cleaners. POWDERED
BIG RED® does an efficient job for multi-purpose
cleaning assignments. Use it where there are heavy deposits of soil, grease,
and oily residues.
POWDERED BIG RED®Is
Safe To Use
Safety is an important factor to be
considered in all cleaning applications. POWDERED
BIG RED® is safe to use in many aspects. First, it
is mild to the hands and clothing of personnel, and no toxic fumes are
emitted during use. Milder than most steam cleaning compounds, the pH is
11.4 in a ten percent solution. POWDERED BIG RED®
can be used on most painted surfaces
without stripping or harming the paint. There's no visible staining, discoloration,
etching, or pitting of aluminum or aluminum alloy. In addition, POWDERED
BIG RED® is authorized by the U.S.
Department of Agriculture as a general cleaner with an A1 rating.

Wetting Agents
As a premium grade cleaner, POWDERED
BIG RED® contains high quality water softening and
wetting compounds. POWDERED BIG RED®'s
highly effective wetting action ensures good penetration into the surface
to be cleaned . . . getting down under the grease and dirt, POWDERED
BIG RED® can "lift" off deposits. Good penetration
into soil is obtained, and the surfactants are biodegradable.

As mentioned earlier, POWDERED
BIG RED® contains wetting and penetrating agents.
These ingredients play another role in POWDERED BIG
RED®'s performance . . . with the addition of these
ingredients, POWDERED BIG RED® can
be rinsed freely, leaving no white film on the cleaned surfaces. A sheet
flow rinse is obtained!

BIG RED® to be used will vary depending on the type
of soil being cleaned, cleaning equipment, water hardness, time and temperature
of the cleaning operation. The ingredients in POWDERED
BIG RED® are at exceptionally high levels of concentration.

DIRECTIONS
FOR USE
The effective concentration of POWDERED
BIG RED® to be used will vary depending on the type of soil
being cleaned, cleaning equipment, water hardness, time and temperature
of the cleaning operation. In equipment systems, the most typical end usage
ratios will be between one part POWDERED BIG RED® to 400
parts water and one part POWDERED BIG RED® to 500 parts
water (1:400 to 1:500). However, dilution's to 1:1000 and more can be used
by many applicators.
Usually a liquid concentrate is made
from POWDERED BIG RED® for use in all areas of vehicle wash
operations for both manual and automatic applications. Prepare by dissolving
POWDERED BIG RED® in water and stir mixture thoroughly.
In all cleaning applications, to prevent
streaking, cool hot surfaces with cool tap water before cleaning and avoid
washing in direct sunlight.

Automatic
Car Wash Operations
For Pre-rinse — Add 10 to 15 lbs. per 50
gallons of water and inject into pre-rinse station at normal dilution,
using hot or warm water.
Brush Application — Add 1 to 4 lbs.
per 100 gallons contained in solution tank.
Rinse vehicle surfaces before applying
wax.
Manual
Car Washing:
Add ½ oz. to 4 oz. POWDERED
BIG RED® per gallon of water and apply by wiping,
brushing, or using a low pressure sprayer. Wash surfaces from the bottom
to avoid streaking. Do not allow the solution to dry on car surface.
Rinse cleaned area with clear water.
