PRO-TAC IV

Exceeds TO-4 & C-4

Texas Refinery Corp.'s PRO-TAC IV is a superior product due to refining techniques of the base oils as well as the use of additives that exceed the requirements of Caterpillar TO-4 and Allison C-4. The base oils have been put through several refining steps that remove undesirable characteristics while, at the same time, making these oils extremely resistant to oxidation or to the possibility of contributing to sludge, gum or varnish. PRO-TAC IV exceeds the requirements of today's power shift transmissions, wet disc brakes, and final drives that have become more complex and use more advanced materials.

PRO-TAC IV

Provides Low Temp Fluidity

Texas Refinery Corp.'s PRO-TAC IV offers excellent low temperature fluidity. Choose the proper viscosity depending on temperature conditions and you'll find this product provides easier cold weather starting and better wear protection during cold weather operation. PRO-TAC IV exceeds the wear requirements of Caterpillar TO-4. PRO-TAC IV can be used in Allison transmissions and Caterpillar applications where they previously used a CD/TO-2 motor oil. Many types of equipment have specified CD/TO-2 type oils and PRO-TAC IV can take care of all of them with the exception of the engine application.

PRO-TAC IV

Provides Longer Drain Intervals

Texas Refinery Corp.'s PRO-TAC IV provides longer drain intervals and more reliable equipment operation than commercial products on the market. The product has excellent oxidation stability and sludge control as demonstrated in the Allison C-4 oxidation test.

The red color of PRO-TAC IV works in two ways. First, a leak can easily be traced. Second, it helps prevent someone from putting this product in the engine crankcase.

PRO-TAC IV

Provides Better Performance

Please remember the Allison C-4 and Caterpillar TO-4 requirements are simply the minimum test Texas Refinery Corp.'s PRO-TAC IV must satisfy to meet the performance requirements of heavy equipment. The use of PRO-TAC IV will not attack non-metallic materials - - - therefore friction discs in transmissions and brakes will last longer. Some oils can have a detrimental effect on both the performance and life of drive train components. With PRO-TAC IV gear wear will be greatly reduced. Instead of "stick/slip" vibration and noise problems experienced with common oils PRO-TAC IV will let the wet disc brakes perform smoother, quieter, and last longer.

PRO-TAC IV

Eliminates Problems

Texas Refinery Corp.'s PRO-TAC IV has been tested with both metallic and non-metallic friction materials and provides stable friction characteristics. PRO-TAC IV eliminates the problems of excessive brake noise, embrittlement of elastomeric materials and has eliminated the weakening of the binder in paper materials. With Texas Refinery Corp.'s PRO-TAC IV there is no need to constantly adjust equipment to maintain proper clutch setting. This product helps eliminate clutch slippage, even under heavy loads on steep inclines.

PRO-TAC IV

Contains Outstanding Additives

Texas Refinery Corp.'s PRO-TAC IV contains outstanding anti-corrosion, anti-oxidation and anti-rust additives. These additives are important for long term protection of the equipment. In addition special anti-foam protection is provided to ensure that metal-to-metal contact and resulting wear is kept to an absolute minimum.

NOTICE: This oil is formulated for transmissions and drive trains only and should not be used in engines. Shortened engine life may result.
